Everlane Kick Crop Jean Review. I’m a huge fan of Everlane but hadn’t tried their denim until recently. When they came out with their Kick Crop denim, I decided to give Everlane denim a go. White jeans are a warm weather must and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair for as long as I can remember. White anything is hard to wear because it can be easily be unflattering if the cut, fit, or style isn’t perfect. For someone who’s on the shorter side, white pants are especially difficult because you could end up looking short and wide.

So when Everlane marketed the Kick Crop jean as leg lengthening, I was immediately hooked. After browsing a few blogs, I decided to bite the bullet and I’m so glad I did. The fit of the Kick Crop jean is slim through the thigh and a slight flare at the ankle. The jeans are cropped right above the ankle for a leg lengthening effect. I’m 5’2″ so these jeans did not hit at the ankle for me. They were normal jean length on me. The hem on the Kick Crop is a raw hem so you can easily cut them to your desired length. I had my hemmed instead. I loved the look of the raw hem but I didn’t want the hem to fray through repeated washes. Plus, I can now wear them to work which is exactly what I did.

These jeans are high waisted (which I’ve recently become addicted to but I’ll save that for another post) and I love it. They work pair really well with blouses for work or with a silk cami for the weekend. When I wore these to work, I added a black belt to elevate the look. I was afraid the white denim would be a little too casual on its own, even if worn with a silk tie neck blouse. I think the final look turned out professional enough for the office!

The last thing that I love about these jeans is that the denim doesn’t have as much stretch as we’re used to. Everlane’s denim jeans only contain 2% elastane so they’re pretty stiff. These remind me of the jeans I wore and loved as a child pre-jegging era. They did stretch out a little bit after a few hours but nothing terrible. I actually liked the slightly straight leg look, especially for Spring/Summer.

If you’re in need of a good pair of white denim for the warmer months, definitely try these out. Since I got these a month ago, I’ve worn them at least once a week and plan to wear them through Fall and Winter!
